Into Tanzania's wild heart.

The Ulugurus rise straight up behind Morogoro, only a few hours from Dar es Salaam. You walk through Luguru farms to the old Morningside house, then climb through rainforest to Lupanga Peak, rich in rare birds found almost nowhere else.

A quick mountain escape from Dar es Salaam, with old forest and a steep climb to Lupanga Peak. This sample itinerary is a strong starting point and can be refined around your dates, interests and preferred accommodation level.
